COMPANY PROFILE
The foundations
of the Güleryüz Company were laid in 1961 by getting the support of Haci Şevket
BEDİR’s wife, Binnaz BEDİR, and his eldest son Sıtkı BEDİR, the company started
with haberdashing. Since the first day of its establishment, Güleryüz has taken
care to meet customer demands and expectations at the highest level and then
started to produce cologne according to the requests from customers.
Having acquired the principle of
working correctly and honestly in every field of trade, Güleryüz established
Güleryüz Foreign Exchange in 1990 in the period when Turkish Government started
officially giving permission of the establishment of Foreign Exchange Bureaus
to buy and sell foreign exchange.
Within the perspective of increasing
business potential and high quality understanding, in 1997, it moved to the
shop at Uzun Çarşı, which is the first biggest retail jewellery store of
Adapazarı with three floors operating from 36-year-old Grand Bazaar shop. With
the increasing business potential of 01.01.2002 and the need to sail in
different seas, Güleryüz, by founding ALTIN FABRİKASI KUYUMCULUK A.Ş opened to
the world.
In that period, as the service
network gradually expanded and competition intensified, we felt the need for
institutionalizing our Company structure and for this purpose we made an
analysis of what kind benefits institutionalization would bring to our
companies. And as result of the analyses, we realize that we will be able to
establish positive culture changes and quality awareness within our company
together with effective management that will strengthen our corporate image
with external institutionalization, increase customer's satisfaction, increase
competitive power, establish better supplier relations and have a reliable
company structure at the same time. we have been systematized to produce better
documentation and consistency in our system to increase the efficiency of our
business and reduce the costs while doing so and we come out that the
conditions of ISO 9001 which is the system to provide all of these things would
light us in this regard and in April 2003 we decided to continue our operations
in this direction.
In this sense, after starting our
ISO studies, all our company sub-structures were entirely according to ISO
standards and successfully passed the TSE-ISO 9001: 2000 audits on 18-20
February 2004 and became the first ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certified
Jewellery Shop and Currency Exchange in Turkey.
In the field of jewellery, we also
launched DIAMOND ZERGERAN in 2012 with its unique designs and high quality
concept. Based on the successful attended exhibitions, we serve a very wide
range of customer portfolio either locally or abroad with the headquarter of
our brand which is in Istanbul Grand Bazaar.
OROBELLA WEDDING RINGS, the latest
fruit of our experiences in gold and jewellery sector, joined the Güleryüz
industry in 2014. We are in Istanbul at Kuyumcukent Jewelery Complex. With more
than 200 sale points locally and exporting to 15 different countries make it,
one of the group’s shining affiliates.
